OVERVIEW
Grüner Veltliner was only socially recognised in 1930’s but by the late 1950’s had become Austria’s most planted variety. Harvested in October, fermented and stabilised the wine was shipped to Australia and completed at the winery in the Hunter Valley. The wine was released 9 months after harvest to the Australian market.
