Tempranillo Graciano Cabernet 2016 Hunter Valley/Hilltops NSW
How did we come up with this little blend? Well we can’t take credit for this innovative blend, the spainards have been doing it for years…..But we have been perfecting the art of blending and are getting pretty proficient at growing Spanish varities.
Why Tempranillo and Graciano? it is common practice in Rioja in Spain which is the home of these varieties to grow them in the same block and this classic Spanish blend has been enjoyed by our Winemaker so many times that he decided to give it a good crack and we are glad he did! Rich, spicy fruit and savoury oak tannins produce a medium to full bodied red that pairs well with any Mediterranean dish. Try it slightly chilled now or cellar up to 8 years.
